"Thanks a bunch Wayne. We had a blast and we will be back soon to come skiing again."
"Very nice, I was glad to see so much snow. The fine details in the woodwork in the cabin were very nice and these were great accommodations. We are a family of three and this was a nice, nice vacation."
"Our journey here is well a known path when life’s agenda will allow. Seeking the country side and mountains and of course our friends warm welcome and love. Encore an thanks to all . Our stay was wonderful with all the comforts of home. To those whose vision built this place and all the detailed thought to make it a tritely delightful stay at home away from home thank you for such a great idea. P.S. See you when the snow flies."
"What a magical place. The cabin is spectacular and what a delightful area. There is so much to do and see and we are anxious to return again. This is truly one of the most beautiful parts of the country and we are looking forward to a Canoe trip in the Summer and Snowmobiling in the Winter." Tommy wrote: From Wayne to all: Well I guess that I will have to explain the moving floor. When we built the cabin the men that built it made it so tight that when our guests have turned on the exhaust fan the suction from the fan actually lifted the kitchen floor about two inches so it was like you were walking on air. We have taken due note Tommy and we will try to have this situation fixed before you return. Thanks for the heads up. Bob and Lori wrote: "This is our first stay at Pike Pond Cabins but it won’t be our last. What a wonderful place, just like a piece of Heaven. We were very comfortable and at home during our stay. The snowmobiling was great and there is so much to see and do. Thank you to Wayne and his family for a great weekend." The Beal and Bullock Families wrote: "We have been here for almost a week and the snowmobiling has been great. Your cabin is awesome and very clean and well kept for its size. It is a very peaceful setting with plenty of non material activities. We hope to return for summer activities like fishing and four wheeling and look forward to snowmobiling next year. Thank you for your hospitality." Ready and JP wrote: "We found your cabin online and it was just what we were looking for. We snowmobiled from the cabin to to Colebrook, Errol and Berlin on great trails. On Monday we actually rode eight and one half hours on well groomed trails and didn’t see another rider. In all we rode two hundred seventy miles in two days and this a great place to explore. I was impressed with the cabin, it was nicely constructed, quiet and very warm. In Berlin we saw a Cow and Calf Moose at sunset trudging through waist deep snow, impressive." A note from Wayne: We have asked all of our guests what we could do to make their stay better or to make the Cabin more accomodating and we have had several comments some of which we have already attended to but others we have not had a chance to deal with. Rest assured that we wil seriously consider all suggestions and do whatever we can to make changes that those of you have recommended. For example: we have put night stands in each bedroom wirh alarm clocks on each. We have also added full length mirrors to each bedroom to help when there is a crowd in the Cabin. We will be venting the cabin at Tommy’s suggestion so won’t have to explain the moving floor any longer. We will talk to our contractors about some higher shelving to store bags and equipment for those who bring extra clothing and bags for some of our outdoor activities and finally I will be working on a book to outline where our guests can find things like grocerie stores, restaurants and services so that they can much more easily find all that they might need . So keep the ideas coming and we will be looking forward to seeing you all again and meeting new friends as well.
