The opportunity to discover breathtaking views, unsuspecting wildlife, native plants in all their glory all while listening to the melodic sounds of feathered friends make hiking in New Hampshire an extraordinary experience. We have trails for every level of experience, from the beginner to the more adventurous. Hiking the woods of New Hampshire is a great way to relax by yourself or create lasting memories with family and friends.
Finding a trail that’s just right for you can make your hike a lasting memory. My wife Debbie and I have been avid hikers for the last fifteen years. Debbie has done many of the four thousand footers in NH and several in Maine, including sections of the Cohos Trail, which extends from the Presidentials and passes through our property on its way to Pittsburg, NH and eventually links with a trail system in Quebec. We can help you find a hike that will suit your abilities.
We are working on a connecting trail, and will have it completed in the Spring of 2009, so that hikers can leave our cabin and hike across this trail to a junction on the Cohos trail just north of Rt 110 in Stark NH. likewise those who are hiking towards Pike Pond Cabins from either direction can have direct access off the Cohos Trail to our cabin for over night stay or to pick up supplies if you want to have them forwarded to us. Let us know if you are going to be in the area and if we can be of assistance to you.
