Moose Hunting: New Hampshire has a estimated population of 6,000 moose in the whole state. This year we gave out 515 tags to individual hunters who were drawn from a lottery that was held in June. We are in the middle of one of the best hunting areas in the state of NH for Moose and commonly see them throughout the year.
